MIDDLESEX JUNIOR AUTUMN MEETING 2009
21 March 2010The Middlesex Junior Autumn Meeting was held at Muswell Hill Golf Club on Sunday 30th October 2009.
Junior Autumn Meeting
Twenty four girls from six golf clubs participated. Results:-

2010 Spanish Senior Ladies’ Open Amateur Championship
22 February 2010Played at Novo Sancti Petri, Playa de la Barrosa, Cadiz
Jane Rees (Hendon Golf Club) won the Spanish Senior Ladies’ Amateur Open Championship (11-12 February 2010) out of a field of 80. She was 6 shots ahead after the first day and extended it to 8! Pat Rex says it was a privilege being there and caddying for her.
Rita Davidson came a creditable 26th in the singles.
In addition Rita and Jane came fourth in the doubles event run over the first two days (9-10 Feb) one day 4BBB, one day foursomes
Pat thinks that they liked the conditions – pouring rain and VERY cold. They were able to place the ball within one club length all week and then on the last day it was a shotgun start because of the weather.
What a credit to Middlesex and Hendon!
